Here Kitty Kitty...

Kitten heels are what will be hot for Spring/Summer 2011 and I couldn’t be happier.  I like a heel, but not so high that I look like I’m trying to balance on a tight rope as I walk down the street.  Kitten heels have been around FOREVER and go with everything from shorts and capri pants, to summer dresses and formal evening wear.

Definition: A kitten heel is a type of shoe with a thin-based, low heel (usually 1.5 inches or less) that is set in from the back of the shoe.
Especially popular on pumps, kitten heels can be found on many types of women's dress shoes. More than just being a low heel, what makes a kitten heel is the placement and feminine shape of the heel.

Don’t Tease Me

Remember this summer when I showed you this?

I really fell in love with the adorable fuchsia dress in the window. It’s the Alice by Temperley Harmonia Dress from my favorite Madison boutique.

I immediately pictured myself wearing it on so many different occasions. I  imagined myself walking the streets of Milan in this dress with a little pair of white strappy sandals.  I love the color and it is so wispy and cute. The price: $395.00.  Insert a photo of me crying real tears here.
